Lori has been involved in virtually every aspect of the Beauty Industry for 20 Years. Starting with Skin Care/Esthetics, Lori’s education includes advanced peel training from Rhonda Allison’s Image Skin Care. Her Hair education includes Unite Academy for Classic Cutting (San Diego, CA), Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy and Pureology Pure Form Cutting. Lori has been licensed in Massage, detoxifying Body Wraps, Eyelash Extensions and Microdermabrasion. She has completed her full spectrum approach to beauty by becoming a licensed Hairstylist and Color Expert. She uses the Schwarzkopf and Redken Hair lines and continues to add to her ongoing education.
She approaches each of her clients with the intent of seeing them enhance their own beauty. Becoming a hairstylist was something that Becky had always wanted to do. She has shadowed four other members of her family in their journeys as stylists and she knew it was the right career for her. She has been working as a licensed hair stylist for the last 8 years and received her cosmetology license in 2012 after attending Citrus Heights Beauty College. LASH EXTENSION QUESTIONS
HOW LONG WILL MY LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
With proper care, the overall look can last anywhere from 2-4 weeks without very noticeable shedding. These eyelash extensions are semi-permanent so they are not meant to stay on forever. (Although that would be amazing right!) You will need to book refills in order to maintain the overall look.
EXTENSIONS CAUSE MY OWN LASHES TO FALL OUT?
This is a silly myth, the answer no. An eyelash undergoes a three-part growth cycle:
Anagen (Growth) Phase
This is the phase when lashes are actively growing, and it lasts between 30 and 45 days. Only about 40 percent of the upper lashes and 15 percent of the lower lashes are in the anagen phase at any one time. Each lash will grow to a specific length and then stop.
Catagen (Transition) Phase
The catagen phase is also known as the transition phase. During this phase, the lash stops growing and the hair follicle shrinks.
Telogen (Resting) Phase
The Telogen phase is also referred to as the resting phase. This phase can last more than 100 days before the eyelash falls out and a new one begins to grow. Because each individual lash is in its own phase of the growing cycle, it's normal for a few lashes to fall out most days. It typically takes between four and eight weeks to fully replace an eyelash.
Truth is that we are constantly losing our own lashes naturally. Should you find that a couple of your own lashes (with an extension attached) have fallen, this is completely normal. Entrusting a lash artist who is not certified or a licensed Esthetician / Cosmetologist may however be dangerous and you are risking your own health.
WHAT IS A FILL?
A refill is a touch-up and works the same way as when you get your nails done. If you get acrylic nails, you will need to come in after 3 weeks to get a "fill" --same goes for lash extensions. Depending on which lash set you originally purchased, you can choose from 3 different refill packages.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Brush lashes with mascara wand
Do not get them lashes wet for the first 24 hours
Avoid the use of oil-base products on or around the eyelashes

MICROBLADING QUESTIONS
WHAT IS MICROBLADING ?
Microblading is a form of a cosmetic semi-permanent makeup performed using, a manual (not a machine) disposable handheld tool, composed with very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade (we call it a microblade), to hand draw each individual hair and simultaneously implant the pigment into the skin.
HOW MICROBLADING IS DONE ?
Each new hair stroke that is drawn by hand and is meant to simulate the client natural eyebrows hair and seamlessly blend it with the client existing brows to add color and fullness resulting in a very natural look. Our microblading process ensures that we design a customized shape, look, and feel that complements your face and your personality.
WHO IS MICROBLADING FOR ?
Microblading is an ideal solution for clients who have patchy, thin, or uneven eyebrows and are looking for the most natural looking results. However, not everyone is a candidate for microblading and there are different elements to consider such as skin condition and health. Microblading is most suitable for clients with normal skin and small pores. Oil in the skin can cause the Microblading hair-stroke to expand and blur so the less oily the client skin is, the better the result would be. We have very strict guidelines that we follow to decide who is a good candidate for microblading and who should avoid microblading!
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED FOR A NEW SET OF MICROBLADED EYEBROWS?
A new set of Microbladed eyebrows takes two appointments to complete. The technique and art of microblading is very delicate and for this reason it needs two visits to ensure that all the strokes are evenly saturated with pigment. The second appointment is called a complementary touchup and takes place 6 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment after the pigments settled into the skin. In this complementary touchup, the artist makes any needed adjustments and ensures each hair-stroke has even color.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY NEW MICROBLADED BROWS?
We recommend yearly touchup, after the initial complementary touchup, to maintain the crispness and freshness of the color. Natural fading occurs from external factors such as exposure to the sun as well as internal factors such as the gradual break down of pigments as your body metabolizes it out of your system. Everyone can experience the fading process differently and it really comes down to skin type and lifestyle
